SAVAGE A22MR 22WMR MAGNUM PRO VARMINT 10 SHOT - SKU: A22MRPV

Savage's new A22R Repeater is the most convenient and easy to use rimfire rifle on the market. The A22R Repeater combines modern ergonomics with a handy latching repeater action that is intuitive and simple to use, leaving you free to concentrate on your target not on the rifle. The Pro Varmint model steps up the performance with a Boyds Pro Varmint stock providing superior handling and ergonomics as well as an extremely stable platform for the heavy varmint weight barrel. The addition of a one-piece Picatinny rail provides a variety of easy mounting options for optics. Savage's A22 series has a well deserved reputation for tack-driving accuracy and for good reason. The unique zero-tolerance headspacing design mates the barrel to the action with a barrel locknut just like on the centrefire models. This allows headspace to be set exactly to minimum with zero tolerance on every individual firearm, resulting in superb accuracy. The A22R's accuracy, reliability and light weight make it an ideal option for a variety of rimfire roles, including small-game hunting, target shooting and casual plinking.

    A22wmr lever release

Posted by Brian on 9th Mar 2021

After owning the a22lr and a17 I now have all 3 including a22mag of a kind, the lever release sells me over a bolt, the a22lr I only use subsonic in on small properly it's a 8 out of 10 score for different reasons, the a17 is a 8.8 out of 10 and works very well for me out to 180mts, the a22mag only used 40 cci 30grain hpv and feel it's a 7.6 out of 10 it didn't eject 4 shells and it patterns at 35mm over 5 shots, maybe different ammo will be better
