The Nightforce Standard Duty base (A293) is a precision-machined one-piece scope base made specifically for the Remington 700 short action. Machined to MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail specifications and finished in durable matte black, it provides a rock-solid, perfectly aligned mounting platform that accepts any Picatinny-spec rings, including Nightforce's own ring sets.

This base is cut with 20 MOA of built-in forward taper, biasing the riflescope's elevation travel toward 'up' adjustment. That additional usable elevation is invaluable for long-range shooting, letting you dial further before running out of internal adjustment. As with all Nightforce mounting solutions, the Standard Duty base is manufactured to exacting tolerances so the scope's mechanical zero stays true to the bore.
