The Nightforce NX6 6-36x56mm is a second focal plane riflescope in the NX6 series, pairing a 6-36x magnification range with a 56mm objective lens. It is fitted with the new FVR-1 (Fine Varmint Reticle), an ultra-fine crosshair design with a Digillum-illuminated center dot, created for fast targeting of small, camouflaged, and moving varmints.

Built on a 34mm tube, it uses capped elevation and windage turrets (FieldSet capped elevation) with .250 MOA click values, 115 MOA of elevation adjustment, and 85 MOA of windage adjustment. Parallax adjusts from 10 m/11 yd to infinity, eye relief is 3.5 in (89 mm), and field of view runs from 19.4 ft at 6x to 3.2 ft at 36x (at 100 yards). The scope weighs 31.4 oz (890 g) and measures 15.3 in (389 mm) overall.
