The GBS18.2 Grizzly muzzle brake is designed for calibres up to .30cal. These brakes are an easy, convenient screw on design that do not require any crush washers or special tools. Just screw the muzzle brake on all the way to the shoulder of your barrel and then fasten tight with the tool provided. Due to the perfectly aligned machined gas ports, this design disperses energy evenly around the brake, creating greater balance thus eliminating deviation from the muzzle blast.
PLEASE NOTE - Calibres over .30cal must be modified by a gunsmith.
The GBS18.2 standard thread size is:
- 5/8X24TPI
The GBS18.2 Dimensions are 18.95mm (0.746in) diameter at the base, 18.2mm (0.716in) diameter at the tapered end, 62mm (2.440in) in length and it weighs 57 grams (2.01oz).
The GBS18.2 is suitable for many firearms for a flush fitting muzzle brake that have this barrel profile. It can also be fitted to a smaller barrel profile, if the 5/8x24TPI thread size is what you require and a slightly larger diameter brake is prefered.
The GBS18.2 with a 5/8x24TPI thread size was specifically designed for the POST 2018 Lithgow Crossover for the following calibres:
- .243win
- 6.5 creedmoor
- .308win
