Short barrel firearms are great for shooting out of in four wheelers, utes and on foot however the concussive blast that is sometimes felt in and around your face make them at times not very enjoyable to shoot.
The Grizzly Deflector is designed to redirect the blast away from the shooter making it a more comfortable shoot with a short barreled firearm such as the Taipan X. This product does not suppress the blast but does redirect it down range away from the shooter, end result giving you a better experience when shooting this type of firearm.
The Grizzly Deflector is manufactured in Australia as is a two part muzzle brake system. Its an all stainless steel manufacture with the outer shroud cerakoted in Armour Black. It consists of a 1/2x28TPI muzzle thread suitable for firearms up to .30cal.
Installation.
1. Firstly remove the internal stainless part of the Deflector brake and screw it very firmly onto the muzzle thread of your firearm with the aid of a wrench.
2. Now screw on the outer deflective shroud firmly by hand all the way to the end until it goes no further being careful not to cross thread the two parts (no wrench is required just a firm grip on the part).
3. If at some later stage when you remove your Deflector brake for cleaning etc it unscrews all in one piece, you can simply use a 20mm socket to seperate the two parts. (This will only take place if a wrench was originally used to fasten both parts).
